The port town that gave its name to a famous hot sauce — a Buddhist temple sits on a tiny island just off its waterfront, and evenings here bring one of the coast's finest sunsets.
Route and Road
Head north on Route 3 through Bang Saen — the road is straight, busy in places near the cargo port, but well surfaced throughout. Ko Loi temple sits right in town, by the waterfront.
Surface: Route 3, some traffic.
What to See
- Temple on an island in the bay
- Birthplace of the famous hot sauce
- One hour by motorcycle
Tip from FirstMileSriracha's waterfront has plenty of seafood cafés cheaper than Pattaya's — locals come here on weekends too, not just tourists.
