A giant wooden temple-palace built without a single nail, rising straight out of the sea — with the old fishing quarter of Naklua right nearby, boats and a morning market included. A perfect half-hour ride along the coast.
Route and Road
Head north along Pattaya Beach Road, then Naklua Road to the Sanctuary of Truth sign. The road is urban with heavy traffic at peak hours — allow extra time on weekends.
Surface: urban roads, waterfront.
What to See
- Wooden temple-palace by the sea
- Fishing quarter and morning market
- Just 12 km from the centre
Tip from FirstMileBare shoulders and knees aren't allowed inside — bring a light cover-up. After the temple, walk through the Naklua market: seafood is fresher and cheaper than in touristy Pattaya.
